Because of the Labor Day Holiday, practices this week are Tues (Sep 6) and Thurs (Sep 8). Practices are still 7:30 - 9:30 at Montecito Hts Rec Center. Go to the Directions page for directions.

SoCal U-23 tryout campNews

Below are the details for the 1-day try-out camp for the Southern California Under-23 Women's Select Side Team.
The California camp is hosted by the UCLA Womens Rugby Football Club. Big thanks go out to them!
Please note: YOU MUST ATTEND AT LEAST ONE CAMP SESSION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE TEAM. For those who wish to seriously participate further onto ITT's, we STRONGLY suggest that you make the 1-day camp and the final 2-day camp dates available in your schedule.
Also note: If you are UNDER 18 years of age and wish to participate, please contact me directly at socalunder23@hotmail.com. I will then send you a waiver that needs to be signed by the participants parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before participation at these camps.
If you are OVER 23 and wish to participate, we ask you to please join us! We encourage everyone to share in this fun rugby experience.

PARKING:
We recommend parking in LOT 6 which is located near the "Pauley Pavilion". You must go to a "parking kiosk" to purchase a one-day parking permit. The permit will cost $7, which will be reimbursed from your $25 camp fee. The kiosk is located outside of the parking lot ON WESTWOOD.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
8:00am - Camp Check In
9:00am - Camp Begins
12:00pm - Lunch
4:30pm - Camp Concludes
WHAT TO BRING:
-$25.00 Camp Fee (fee includes lunch, water/gatorade, med kit supplies, etc)
-Full kit (cleats, mouthguard, rugby shorts, jersey, etc)
-Sunscreen
-Health Insurance card
-Anything else you personally need to participate
OTHER IMPORTANT CAMP DATES*:
2-Day Camp - Saturday & Sunday, May 28th & 29th - California

Santa Barbara TournamentAnnouncements [A]

Even though we don't start 7s practices until May 16th, that doesn't mean there is nothing rugby related to do, for those who are looking for a fix.
This Saturday, 23rd & Sun 24th. Santa Barbara Tourney (you can whore, watch, socialize, whatever). The finals for our territory will be there: you can watch Belmont, Coast, Surfers and Scottsdale duke it out. There are other division finals there, too
